Do you use the clinic on base? I see that it's "Space Available".
What about English-speaking doctors in town (Iwakuni/Hiroshima) and specialists, including but not limited to dermatology, orthodontia, and internal medicine?

TeacherMama722, so it's a "pre-employment" exam? They have to fill out a form? I am going to see if I can schedule an appointment a month out, before the paperwork gets here. And the spouse and kids just need a generic letter?

Yes, not a full physical. Vision, hearing, blood pressure, etc.

In the transfer round, out of the 180+ openings there were around 15 science related openings. Here were some of the openings. I am science. I have had one interview (which I think was luck it was so early. The position was open due to retirement). I just asked someone and it looks like they do come to our location as the U.S. forestry department on the island also packs out their civilian employees for moves.
