You could do DDESS and then back to DoDDS the following SY. Then you don't have to worry about losing your years and you'd gain one for the year in DDESS.

I agree. No matter how many times you move there will be new questions and it will be very hard to find someone to answer them that actually knows what they are taking about. Luckily, it tends to work out, but not without a lot of frustration.

Thanks, I had a bit of mission fatigue last night. This is one of those things where I "knew" to expect but once encountering it I am more flustered than I expected.

I had an interview last Friday and they also asked for references. I was told by my current principal that he was contacted by phone immediately after my interview and was asked to fill out the form.

I am not on 26 paychecks. The HR representative is in Europe. At this time, they are not sure about when I'll be traveling due to travel bans. The HR representative stated "We have specific coding to use for that period up to 2 weeks. I am surprised that CHRA was unaware of that information, but it was recently published."

Interesting. But not surprising (but only because you should never be surprised by what happens or doesn't happen with DoDEA/the gov't).

I'd agree that overseas PE is often filled internally. I'd suggest getting more teaching certificates and possibly going stateside DoDEA (DDESS) to get overseas.

Have you tried to contact the principal at the school that you have been pulled from? Seems like Fort Campbell is looking for PE teachers... Good luck.

Madrid10, are you saying virtual teaching was reviewed and updated as qualified in EAS? I applied for virtual for ELA,and nothing has been updated. I am hoping there will be some internal hires and then the internal vacancies can also be an option for us outside the system.

Shawna11, I was qualified for German and Spanish as a regular teacher. Then I also checked into Virtual Teacher. I asked EAS to review, I was qualified for Virtual Teacher for German and Spanish.
