Thank you for providing me with some insight into her role. I really can't find any information about what the responsibility scope of a DoDEA social worker. So at least I now have an idea of what the role would entail. Thank you!

I noticed this year when I updated, it had a "school year" next to my attachments, indicating the year I last updated them. I think not having everything up to date with the current year is what ultimately holds people back. I hadn't seen that in the past, so I'm wondering if it was just the way I updated this time.

There is one column on that page that says what school-year it applies to. If you re-upload, the school-year changes to the current one. Then, delete the old one or leave it. Sometimes principals are looking for a particular person. If that person is not on the list, HR generates another list. This MAY be an explanation, but with DODEA, who knows.

They may have felt that those on the original list did not meet their needs, so they requested another list. Sometimes this new list has new names on it. It's likely you won't be asked to interview again. If you really want the position, you could contact the person who arranged your first interview and as for another opportunity.

New guidance from HR apparently said they will evaluate qualifications as needed. Either they really need LIMS teachers or they are pulling lists first and evaluating as they go.

The referral lists are pulled based on the areas you said you qualified in. Verification will be done later. Some choose to get the verification before the interview and others at the time of the offer.

There is no longer a charter flight on/off the base. It is really hard to get on the military flights, as most other people have priority over teachers. So if you need to return to the states, it can be really difficult to leave.
But I have heard wonderful things about the base, the people, the community, and the events that go on there!

But I can't tell which circle designates a yes or no. Can anyone else see this misaligned formatting under the section where you select yes/no? I'm confused about what circle is for yes and what circle is for no.

Just remember that if you turn down an offer, your application will be frozen and unavailable for the remainder of that school-year. If you know you don't want a location, it is better to turn down the interview than to turn down the offer.
