Any tips or suggestions for my resume and application would be GREAT! I have a M.A. in special education and am currently pursuing a Master's certificate in ABA. I am certified Pre-K - 12th grade, but I also teach adult education for a local university, so I have experience with older students as well. I lived overseas when I was married and worked as a substitute for the Dodds schools in Schweinfurt and Bad Kissingen Germany, so I am familiar with living and working overseas. I have also lived in Korea. My continuing education focus has been primarily with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Behavior disorders, but I have a diverse group of learners in my class with multiple disabilities. I am working on a federal resume, but am having trouble finding a job description for the teaching positions so that I can tailor my resume to that specific listing. happyteacher Don't worry about the resume. Just focus on the application and uploading transcripts and teaching certificates. I teach autism too :)

haha Agree that a resume is not important/required for DoDDS. Everything is done through your EAS. The most important thing for maximizing your chances will be how many areas are your qualified in by DoDDS standards. DoDDS only values credit hours in the specific classes/areas that they require so state certifications will not help you (other than a sta...See More

haha PS. The only shortage area I have seen recently was when a school attempted to hire a VI/LIMM combo and there was only one qualified person in the system and they turned down the job (so it went unfilled).
