Does anyone know how hard it is to get hired as an administrator? I saw a lot of positions available in January on USAJobs but did not apply. I feel like I would rather get in as a teacher but if I hear nothing this year then I would apply for a principal position next winter.
Are there a lot of openings each year? Is it hard to get in?

The positions on USA Jobs are to get into their administrator pool. You can apply as an AP or a Principal and get in the pool.
My understanding is that they review each application, assign you a score, and then they hire top scores first.
