I have wondered this myself. I applied in January with certification in elementary/middle school and secondary science... I haven't heard anything yet. I know it can be frustrating. I have applied for the last five years and finally received a tentive offer a few weeks ago. The position is Science/ Health middle school which I have many years experience and a masters in. But honestly, I think it is just luck - don't give up?
