Just still keeping my fingers crossed on a position. Wondering if anyone had heard any news lately. They mentioned they had a short hiring window and were doing more interviews for other positions the week I talked to them.

I just ran a search on the DoDDS Teacher FB page. The 5th grade position was filled by person who was with DoDDS until 2012 and has continued with DDESS, so a current DoDEA employee. Good point. I would just say there are a lot of people headed that way, but it is impossible to know if all the vacancies have been filled. Good luck.

Cece, I am going to Iwakini for 3-5 compensatory math. Someone here accepted a position (2nd grade, I think), but due to a complication with HR's rules (and no wrong doing on the person's fault) they are not able to accept the position earlier this week.
