I am trying to talk a sibling into applying for next year to DoDEA, but it seems like most of the people getting hired are sped?
Is that correct?
Any general education teachers?
Any plain old math?
Pre-k-kinder, non-sped?
I do not want to get this person's hopes up since I am sure I got lucky, but I think the sped and math shortage seems to have helped some of you and me as well.

I was just hired as a FLES (foreign lang. in elem. school) for Spanish. I interviewed and was referred a lot for ESL as well. I am also gen ed K-8th grade certified.

I am high school English and library media certified. I just accepted a tentative offer for a elementary library position.

I am elementary...grades 1-5.

Several positions are vacant at Fort Knox, KY. However, overseas, the names that are pulled for interviews are more likely to have Veterans preference or be certified in more than one area.
