Hi. I've seen a lot of posts about overseas jobs lately. Has stateside started hiring yet? Anybody want to share where they've interviewed stateside? Or been hired? Thanks!

RJ I was in the referral list for an elementary position, but was notified that the vacancy was cancelled :-( sadly I have all my eggs in one basket. I'm hoping it pans out.

dodhopeful Thanks, Mary-Lorraine. I heard that news. I'm hoping that one of the bigger schools might possibly have a full time opening... I'm DODHopeful :)

HelpOthers These are the recent vacancies at Fort Knox (Mild/Mod and Mod/Sev are special education psotions, PSCD is Preschool Child Development, also a special education position). dodhopeful Thanks, Mary-Lorraine. Unfortunately, I am only qualified according to DOD for elementary music. I don't quite understand their system...I have preK-12 music licenses in 4 states and a preK-12 ESL license in one state. But they don't seem to care. I'm a career-switcher, so I have no college credit in any of these areas. I guess that's all they look...See More

SandArt dodhopeful, that stinks on the college credit requirement. There are so many online schools where you can easily get credit. However, years of experience are worth much more than a class you took for $240 dollars online that you could complete in 6 hours.
