Like TEACH said, if you have children who plan to attend DoDEA schools, they will need several vaccines and the TB, so I suggest reading their website and having everything done while they are getting their physicals if they are having physicals done.

Surprised to hear that they want TB tests. I wonder if it is something specific to that location. The most recent DoDEA advice on vaccinations did not require TB testing and it was not required for any of the schools at the two locations we have experienced (Europe and Pacific)..

haha---Maybe the information they sent me was incorrect. My kids didn't need TB test when we moved to Okinawa, so I thought it was a little odd. I will have to ask. My 13-year old is really scared of shots/needles, so she would be happy to NOT have to deal with more needles.

I just spoke to HR. Only the sponsor needs to get a TB test and any sponsors over 40 need an EKG.
