Question for those who may be in the know. My husband is the DoD teacher, I'm the dependent. We are stationed overseas in Italy, and I've had medical issues come up. They are unable to treat me here (do not have the appropriate machine) and the machine at Landstuhl is currently down and they do not want me to wait (I've actually been waiting over 2 months already). With our insurance, they said I could be seen pretty much anywhere.

So, was planning on going back to states to where we came here from. I could stay in my house, have family there, etc. They've given us the paperwork to fill out, but we're just totally confused. One of the pieces my husband has to sign is an Excess Cost Agreement for Travel and Transportation Costs. haha Sorry to hear it. I had serious health problems with DoDDS in Europe but was luckily able to get treatment in the local area.

I would talk with your union rep. If they do not know the answers to your questions then immediately have them ask for answers from their superior, etc. Someone should be able to get your some answers.
