As for travel, we were put on the Patriot Express flight for August 3rd, so we'll be flying from Seattle to Yokota.
We had to purchase our ticket to Seattle and were told it would be part of the reimbursement, along with any baggage fees.
I figured I'd keep everyone up to date since I know I feel like I'm just blindly moving forward!

FunspedTeacher, we went in to the office and they arranged the overseas travel right then and there, so we walked out with the confirmation in hand. We had to book the domestic flight ourselves.

Yikes...my nearest base is 106 miles away! Do you have to physically go in, or can it done be done over the phone/email?

I am wondering the same thing. We would have to travel several hundred miles by plane or ferry to get to a base. Is meeting in person just one option and making the plans by telephone another option? We were able to do everything via phone, email and website (and had bases within an hour's drive of us).
