How did you know it was a "firm offer"? Did the email say something like "this is your firm offer"? Or are you considering the "firm offer" to be the email that said your travel date is around August ---, your report to school date is August ---, and had all the paperwork and medical clearance forms attached?

The subject line for the email I received: Welcome to DODEA - Firm Offer Letter The email had the firm offer letter attached, that had the things you mentioned on it, and the inprocessing paperwork attached.

It's so weird how different our experiences are. My email said I would receive firm offer after I completed all those papers, which I did a few weeks ago. Maybe it is because you're for a different country or because of your situation or because of you have a different person handling your process. I don't know. My firm offer did include the salary.
