Do you know which military installations are most likely to allow DOD civilians to live in military housing? I understand that's determined by demand and occupancy rates, but is there a listing somewhere?

haha I also don't know of a list (and if there was one it would change frequently). I would say in general it seems that bases in Asia are more likely to offer the possibility of civilians living on base than those in Europe.

HelpOthers The main reason to live on the military installation is to allow your children to attend DoDEA schools. When you are assigned abroad, your children can attend whether you live on or off the installation. It seems that most DDESS locations allow civilians to live on the installation, but only a few locations have DODEA high schools of that is a conc...See More

i❤️slps I know that Ft. Leavenworth allows DOD Civilians and o live in military housing.

HelpOthers Fort Knox currently has plenty of housing for civilians. Fort Bragg allows it, but you may be on a wait list for a long time. i don't know about other locations.
