Not being there on time is my concern as well. I'm okay with getting there a day before I have to go to work, but in a perfect world a few days prior would be nice. Yep, keeping your fingers crossed is the best you can do. Hopefully you receive your firm offer this week.

I am still waiting for the information to start the background check. My HR person told me that it is likely I will not arrive before classes start. Which, I agree is not a good situation.
