So I had an interview over three weeks ago and I still haven't heard back one way or another. From what I've been reading, that's not too odd however with the school year fast approaching I'm wondering if I should call the principal. I've spoken with HR and they told me I'd heard from them if I got the job or not. Does anyone have any advice?
Worldwide Educator Do you know if your references we contacted? With my first interview, I was notified within 5 days that I was not selected. I interviewed last week and I am now awaiting to hear the results. I ha e read posts where it took anywhere from a week to a month. So I guess it depends on the selecting official.

Hopeful What did you interview for? I'm waiting to hear back about an interview in June, and I know that they checked my references. So nerve wracking!

Worldwide Educator Standard to Iwahuni Math..Did you apply with USAJOBS? I currently work for another government agency and was hired through USAJOBS. The hiring process was totally different. My references were never contacted. My references were contacted after my 2nd interview, but still waiting. The position is in Japan. Classroom teacher.

silverwolf My interview was with the virtual high school. I am hoping to get it, but I'm worried about accepting another job this late in the summer when school is about to start and I might not get out of my contract. Since most schools start up in about a week or two.
