I have all my paperwork in and am waiting for E-Qip. Will I get a link? Do I go in somewhere? How does this work? Is this the background check, or are they already doing background check work?

Someone who has gone through the process more recently can probably be more accurate but as I recall you get an email with a link once the system is ready for your input. Make sure you have all of your past addresses, names and contact information etc ready.

You will receive an email from security personnel that gives you access to the e-QIP site. Detailed instructions will be included with the email. You can google the form so I have an idea of what information you need, so when you get it, you can just copy the info.

I got the e-mail about 2 weeks after the tentative offer. I already had a word document with all addresses and relevant info, so filling it out was quick and easy. I believe it is part of the background check process. If I remember correctly, you have to list all of your addresses for the last ___ years and addresses of references.
