You really hit the jackpot going to Aviano. Is it a school counselor combined with something else? I am wondering why I was not referred.

Understand the ASCA model, review the DoDEA policies and initiatives that might involve school counselors by looking over the DoDEA website. Know how to be a great school counselor and be prepared to give examples of how you have or would respond in situations that might arise. Understand the interstate compact.

I didn't write them all down, but I was asked about collaboration, differentiation, lesson planning, assessment, a problem and how I've handled it, communication with parents, staff, and students, and a big adjustment I've successfully made in my life.
