After you accepted the position? I would have digital official transcripts and carry the official ones. I was told they would ask me for originals, but no one has. We don't have a secretary, though.

Yes, originals! I know of several people who went to get their CAC card and couldn't because their dependents did not have birth certificates and/or they did not have their marriage certificate with them. You definitely need original copies of marriage and birth certificates to get the CAC card. The gentlemen who helped us let me run back to the hotel to get it out of the safe.
