In Japan it's life goes on as usual. There are maybe a few more heightened security exercises but they really don't affect us much. Whatever additional preparations etc. are going on behind the scenes/at a higher level isn't really visible and does not have much impact on us (so far).

I am in China teaching ESL. "Global Times" (the official government newspaper) said that if US first strikes North Korea, China will come to North Korea's defense. However, if North Korea attacks US territory first, then China will declare itself neutral.
