The Summer is when they send out the bulk of the Emails. Last year, I didn't get any until May and I ended up receiving about 30 between May and July.

Pretty much as already answered. Referrals and requests for email can come anytime throughout the year as schools/principals have the need and approved openings. Once the 2nd Semester starts, however, they are generally not able to hire from stateside unless the process had already been fairly far along (offer made basically).

Mine was April (their spring break). I filled a retired position. But I got referrals continuously through December. (HR didn't deactivate my account)

Even if you are applying for overseas (currently located in the US) will the interview requests still come as late as the end of the school year (May and June)?

Yes, the lion's share of referrals/interviews for overseas seem to come in June-July with some coming in May and August and a smaller amount in September. After that the numbers decrease even more but they still keep happening all through the year.
