Wanderlust...I too think it is crazy that I have an endorsement in Sped and have been teaching Sped for 3 years, but I won't qualify for a Sped position with DoDEA. @Wanderlust: I'm surprised that none of your other SPED coursework was counted towards Mod to Severe. I ended up having to send in additional course catalogs and syllabi with the key words they were looking for highlighted (e.g. severe, physical, augmentative communication, cognitive deficits, etc) but eventually they counted them towards Mod to Se...See More

Yes...as Haha said, I had to send in course descriptions in order for them to count my classes toward moderate to severe.

Is your application showing that you are qualified? If so, you don't need to see the initials.
