It would likely depend on the condition and the location you would be going to. Your dependents' health does not come into play at all until/unless you are offered a position. I forget the exact wording, but you would then need to provide a letter from a Dr. stating that he does not have a medical condition that would preclude him from living overs...See More

haha is correct. The employee must pass a physical, but family members need only have a letter stating they can go overseas. However, if your spouse needs to return to the States while you are employed, you may be in a tough situation of choosing to leave and repay moving expenses, etc., or be separated from each other for a time.
