My qualifications for Music Teacher say "Re-Evaluate" with this note:

4.13.17 LS - Please upload a copy of your course-by-course transcript evaluation report so that we can identify that you have completed 12 semester hours in music and a minimum of 9 semester hours in professional teacher education course work is required.

I have a BA in music, but don't have 9 hours professional teacher education course work.
(The evaluation report is because I attended school in Canada)
I completed an alternative cert. program in Florida and have been teaching for six years.
Does this mean I won't be approved. Anyone have any ideas? I'll email HR but figured I'd reach out here as well.

Your evaluator person is Lauren Sugierski ( see initials LS). Send her an email at Lauren.Sugierski@hq.dodea.edu She is very helpful and will clarify everything for you. 9 SH is about 3 courses of 3 credits each. Look up your university course catalog from the years you earned the credits. Send those pages as another transcript or e-mail them if you have been asked for an e-mail. Make sure you send them the pages that have the descriptions of your music and education classes, so they can determine whether you meet their minimum requirements.
