I have been approved for several positions since last year and I recently added a few more to be reviewed due to ongoing courses I've taken. When I checked, they had all been reviewed and decisions were made—some I got and some I didn't. They did voluntarily make exceptions for some of my courses to fit their requirements so that was nice. However, they went back and disqualified me for my Secondary Social Studies. I have my state certification and 30 hours, but the note says I need AP Government?? Since when do you have to have an AP cert to be qualified? But they qualified me for middle school social studies (one of the new ones I was trying to get). I am really confused as to why they went in and changed status on something that's already been decided and I obviously have all the qualifications. Has there been a new rule for Secondary requirements? They denied me middle school English, but I'm qualified for Secondary and am state certified with a bachelor's????
someday I have a Masters in science education and they initially denied me science. I had over 70 hours in science between all of my degrees. I just resubmitted the same transcripts and stated that politely. Just resubmit and let them know what to look for. You could also give them a call and see If you can speak with whomever worked on your file.

haha That does sound strange and I would definitely ask HR for clarification. AP Government is a separate endorsement and has never been (and still is not) one of the published required SS classes.
