I am exempt from the Praxis b/c I have "over 7 years teaching experience," but this is how it appears on my application report:

Exempt from PRAXIS tests Yes

Meet the DoDEA PRAXIS requirements No

I am worried that the wording makes it appear as though I scored poorly. I have never taken the Praxis. I took a different assessment ... Why can't they just use "n/a" instead of "no"? Will principals misunderstand this? The only thing I can think to do is take the Praxis ($$$$), but I would rather put money into more college hours. Thoughts?

Buzz Abby, Since your report reads the same, maybe this is something familiar to principals?? Maybe they won't just assume that our scores are lacking. It just seems to me that the competitive nature of the process does not leave room for any ambiguity. I sent an email to my evaluator, but I doubt I will get a response--this is probably not a big concer...See More

HelpOthers If you have been teaching for 7 years or more, they will put NO even if you have taken the PRAXIS. Don't worry about it.
