So I'm feeling pretty confident for my interview and what they may ask me. But tell me some things you wish you had asked at your interviews for overseas posts if you don't mind. Anyone feel free to share. Thanks.

haha In most places, you will need a car right away. When we lived in Japan previously (not with DoDEA) we lived near a train station and did not really need a car.

Most bases (including those near Tokyo) require a car. Even if you lived near a train station and/or base, most bases are fairly spread out and walking or waiting for the shuttle to...See More

Scholar What issues have other teachers had moving there. How does he/she deal with parent complaints.

HelpOthers Southernteach. I think I may have met you. ;) If you need to travel between complexes, you will be able to use a district van. If you live close enough to your main work location, you could potentially walk, take base shuttle, take a train to the closest train stations then walk, etc.
