Any advice? Should I e-mail all the principals? Or should I just sit on my hands and be patient?

Cold calling/emailing everyone would likely not do much good. It would also likely not do much harm. Principals either have openings that match your certifications, or they don't. I will tell you from experience that principals already receive too many e-mails and have difficulty reading and responding to the ones that need responses. I would not hassle them unless you are on a referral list. However, if you can find a secretary's e-mail, maybe letting them know could help. Just a thought.
