I teach Secondary Social Studies. I know those are far and few, so it is really a miracle at times when I do get a job! What about you?

I was qualified for MS & HS English and HS Social Studies. However, I am surprised I was qualified to teach HS SS because my degree is in Sociology, not history (but I have taught World History). Make sure you update EAS each Feb-March. RE-upload your transcripts and teaching certificate EACH year. Even if nothing has changed, because this triggers the hiring year as well (the next column on the page). Also apply through USA Jobs whenever there is an applicable position posted.
