Ok guys. Haha and Mary and anyone else who cares to jump in. I am trying to decide whether or not to enroll in 4 classes. If I take them I'll be certified in LIMM and EI in addition to already having certs in ELA, LIMM, and VI. It will strain my budget somewhat but it's not undoable. Do you think it's a wise idea? Classes would be finished by end of May and transcripts by first week of June and then add them to my quals once evaluated. Is that putting it to close or do you think it would help me to stand out? Should I see if I can obtain a position without adding those in? I just interviewed in April for VI in Japan but did not get it. Any thoughts appreciated!

GingerZin If you don't mind sharing, what university are you using and what classes are you looking at? I'm sort of considering getting EI cert in the future just because I really love working with the population and have experience at all levels. I have other things I have to work on first though so it will be a while. Thanks!

HelpOthers Being interviewed does not necessarily move you up higher on another referral list, but it means you were high enough on that one. Also, keep in mind that only one person can be hired. The other person may have had more experience or something else that looked slightly better to the interviewers. The good news is that person is no longer competing ...See More
