Does anyone know who is the licensure analyst with the initials CS? Also, those of you who are qualified in middle and secondary English...did you qualify for Drama, Speech, or Journalism or did you have to take additional hours? Btw, if anyone is on the fence about Learners Edge for additional classes I am really enjoying the classes and should be finished with them in about another week or so.

CoPurry I received a few, maybe three, referral lists that contained English, speech, journalism and drama over the last 6 years. I interviewed for only one of them by an assistant principal in Turkey who had been doing a lot of interviews for a lot of subjects and really didn't seem very interested in the interview. Maybe haha can provide more insight.

southernteach I want a job in SPED but I will take most any job with DoDEA so hopefully having the various certs will help. By the end of the month I should have about 10-11 certs. Thanks everyone for the replies.

haha You definitely see ELA in combination with many of those subject areas in the transfer round, so I am assuming similar positions need to be hired for from stateside. haha I don't believe so: Applicant must have completed a minimum of 9 SH in other related fields such as: humanities, art, music, history, drama, theater, literature, dance, or philosophy.
