I received this reply: "Yes it is normal. We are in the middle of transitioning our Personnel security team from under DLA to Dept of Army, so it may be a while. I really do not know their process at this time."
haha
So it's normal that it's taking a while (not that it's normal that you WON'T be getting fingerprint cards/EQIP info. etc.)?

Gina... can I ask who you are dealing with at HR? I'm getting the same message "Don't worry, you'll be contacted by the security team" but I'm really apprehensive about this process. I know it is a "hurry up and wait" situation but I know fingerprints and the E-QIP take a long time and I don't understand why it is taking so long to initiate this pr...See More

@Mrs. C., my HR is Denise Miles. She's always very kind and responsive, replying the same day, but it appears that once we're turned over to the Personnel Security Team, it's out of HR's hands. I've been going through the same thing. I'm trying not to pester my HR Rep about this since it's close to being a month since I've sent in my paperwork, and I'd hope that everything would be completed in time for the start of the next school year. Glad to know it's not just me!
