I have another question (this is all "if" I get hired with DODEA because I know the chances aren't high from what I've read on the internet) and this one is in regards to spouse visas in Japan.

I'm wishing to be placed somewhere in Japan for the 2019-2020 school year but I will have my husband coming with me as he will be working for a B.A. online.

My question is this: If I don't change my last name on anything would he still be able to get a spouse visa (we will have a marriage certificate of course) with his different last name? (We will be getting married in about 6 months so it would be so difficult for me to have to change literally EVERY document I have to match the new last name.)
