Complete all of the EAS materials before winter break and I get an email in the spring saying it's active.

June 11 - referred for position

June 18 - got a call to schedule an interview

June 19 - interview

Continue to keep communication open with the school administration between interview and recommendation.

June 29 - continue to get referred for positions and call HR to see what's going on

July 2 - tentative offer; complete and return to HR specialist. It has an August 2 departure date and an August 9th start date. No pressure!

Snoochiesboochies In his EAS should he list only Belgium as a target location? We're not seeing anything else that would make him *local* in the application.

haha He should change himself from worldwide to local on the Personal Information tab. Then on the Target Location and Date (Local Applicants Only) tab he can pick the specific complex/school(s). He can also go ahead and elect family preference (he is a bit early with these but it shouldn't matter).

After that he should appear on the local hire...See More

Snoochiesboochies He changed it all as suggested and now all of his qualifications say pending instead qualified even though he was qualified before as an external applicant. It's like he's back at the beginning now. I think it's a call to the HR specialist I'm working with tomorrow?

Wishful Thinking @Snoochies, sorry for the delay. So. glad Haha responded to you! Agree that your next step will be to discuss with HR.

Ida Also, if you haven't already, make sure your new principal knows he is a teacher and what his certification areas should be. The principal might know of openings around the complex he would be qualified for.
