Happy Teacher
(PPS - all damage was caused by American shippers - our pack out from US to Oki was packed poorly and our furniture was squashed. Our packout back to the US was fine, but the US movers lost a bunch of parts of things.)

I'd check with HR. Nothing I've seen indicates that it should be over 9 weeks in between offer and eQip.

I use USAA and the renters insurance covers the goods while in transit. Check with your own insurance company. You may need to pay a little more to cover more expensive items. Also, the military will reimburse some for damage if you turn in the report on time. For woodwinds, I would suggest bringing them with you on the plane if at all possible. My...See More
