Question on qualifications. I currently have 20 hours in various sciences

biology, microbiology, anatomy. They are not upper level but they told me they would count towards the 24 hours needed. I just need 9 hours of upper level to qualify. My question is if I have my state endorsement in MS Science does that mean I would need 1/2 those upper level credits or would I still need 9 hours total? Trying to decide the most cost effective options. I am also 3 hours off from qualifying in speech. Thanks!
haha Good question. There was a thread about upper level credit requirements a while back. As I recall, there were conflicting opinions and/or information from HR. Does anyone recall whether there was any resolution on the subject?

DodeaHopeful I have MS science on my stateside cert, so I only needed 12 credit hours However, I don't know how that equates to upper and lower credits

Scholar It cuts your upper level and lower level requirements each in half (so if it was a total of 9 ul, it is now 4.5 ul)

BubbleHead I was told by HR that upper level hours are not reduced by a certification. I don't have a science certificate so it was never put to the test. I got 6 upper level SH from University of LaVerne in 5 weeks for $690 to complete my MSHS science quals.
