I called PSIP today to check my status and was told everything would be sent off to OPM. What is OPM? Does this mean a firm offer is in sight?

OPM is the U.S. Office of Personnel Management... my background check actually spent very little time with PSIP (maybe 4 days) when I got the message that it was complete and sent to OPM. My understanding is that a background check is really just information, its not a "pass/fail" thing. After the check is completed it is sent back to OPM where som...See More
