So everything I am reading in the regulations shows it to be very expensive initially and maybe not even possible to ship a pov to Japan. Does anyone have experience with shipping their car to Japan? Is it difficult to get approval? I know it is expensive but it would be much more expensive for us to get out from being upside down than to take it, so taking it is our preference.

We actually ended up breaking even, but since we really had nowhere to store them and didn't want to make payments on cars we can't drive, it was worth it.

There are people here who buy cars ...See More
