June 11th Referral email
June 13th Interviewed with principal (first DoDEA interview) phone interview was only about 15 minutes long. Didn't feel too great afterwards.
July 6 account inactive followed by tentative offer. Paperwork signed and returned immediately.
July 9th Email from PSIP with e-QIP instructions. Completed within an hour and returned.
July 10th sent off fingerprints on my own since I hadn't received anything yet.
July 13 Email about fingerprint instructions.
July 27 Email from PSIP saying background info was sent off to OPM
Received firm offer 3 hours later with more paperwork to sign.
Sent payroll information from secretary
Driving 11 hours to Fort Knox H.S. to start a new adventure!

Thank you. You are right. Timelines are helpful. I hope you enjoy it there I know I did. Readers, keep in mind this is stateside. When going overseas, it seems they wait for the background check to be completed before sending the firm offer.

Quick turn around! Awesome. For overseas hires, there is also the additional step of medical authorizations, etc. with several other forms related to the request for travel orders...
