Hang in there! I can only imagine how frustrating it is to feel so close and yet be so far, far away. Do you have the option of staying at a long term stay hotel? The bigger problem is that I won't have a firm mailing address to receive the passports, so I am trying to get a hold of Ms. Eugenia to discuss that.

You might consider opening a post office box at a mail boxes etc. type location that can receive fed-ex packages and sign for them.

Or, having it delivered to you at work. However, mine arrived on a Saturday. I would push for the start date on the offer as the reason for hand-walking the passport paperwork. If you check into a pay by the week hotel, that would also give you an address. Maybe even look for air bnb options near you.

I spoke with Eugenia, and she said that she would call me and get a current address before she mails them out. That's a relief because I can just have them sent to my permanent address in WA.
