There are rumors going around that if you get placed in Rota, Spain, you can't shop on base and your kids aren't allowed to attend the base schools. Who would be a good resource to ask about this? My union rep and principal have both said they "think" only military-sponsored kids can attend the schools, but I have never seen anything official that would make me think that.
SpEd_Eddie I don't know for sure. But that don't sound correct...

haha I don't believe that to be the case. The most I have heard is that you need a separate ID to get onto base and it is also more difficult to get guests onto base than at most DoDEA locations.
