Without a teaching degree you would need to at least have the required credits for the areas you are applying for (as posted in the link above or thereabouts). Thank you. Your information was helpful. I did complete a student teaching program so I don't have to take the Praxis. It was a 36 hour program that included graduate level education classes. They weren't called "methods of teaching..." so I believe that's why I'm not getting credit. I can totally understand why state certification only reduces the...See More
