I'm sure this was asked previously, but would it be ok to email principals of schools asking to be considered for a job? If so, what could be some possible questions? Thanks. (So glad I found this chatboard!)
Mathlete I asked this a while back and the short answer is no. Principals cannot hire outside of their referral lists, and probably will not respond to your emails. Best bet is to get a referral and THEN contact the principal to express interest and introduce yourself. I think that's the gist of what I was told.

haha Pretty much this. ^

You won't get banned for doing it but it is not likely to help and may annoy some principals. Some people have done it and think that it may have helped them so you never know (although you would also never really know if it hurt your chances either).

KMC If you received your eligibility email, then why not show interest in a school? Reaching out personally could be the thing that gets you that call. (from an admin perspective)

haha I agree (if they have received a referral for that school).
