There are many people confusing TQSA and TQSE and it is causing unnecessary anxiety. TQSA is not taxed it is in lieu of LQA which is also not taxed. The other misinformation floating around is when someone us referring to a per diem(enroute travel) W2 and saying they got their W2 for PCS already. You always get taxed on per diem for a PCS.

Couple of Questions
From our experience: We were picked up at the airport by my husband's sponsor. You can get advanced pay, but it took weeks for ours to be in our account. No stocking of food. Can't imagine anyone here doing that, unless you asked your sponsor to pick you up a few things. You make your own arrangements for where you'll stay when you first get in, wh...See More
