Some input would be appreciated! So I turned down an offer for Ft. Campbell as an SLP. I am not opposed to stateside, as I am a product of DoD schools and just want to service them and connect with them in a sincere way. However, I was just not financially in a position to move this year without compensation. I know my application is "blacklisted" for the year....but I don't know if this will affect my consideration for future positions next year? I really am hoping for the pacific region, but would be willing to work stateside in order to get into the system for retirement and experience. Does anyone know if I reapply next year will my application be overlooked due to my decline this year?

Thirdtimeisacharm I am pretty sure they are hiring an SLP in Italy, Livorno. My friend works there at the MS and put the word out. They are looking for an SLP with Gen Ed or Spec Ed. Good Luck!

haha As posted, yes. Also, some local hires qualify for PO, even if they don't qualify for LQA.
