I received a tentative offer for a stateside ISS position. The step level is based on my current salary x 1.2 (12 months). However the HR rep is basing the salary on SY 18-19 not 19-20. So it seems that I will lose out on a whole year of raise since my new salary is not based on my projected salary for 19-20. Anyone else transition to a stateside ISS position from overseas?
HelpOthers You are being hired before the step increase occurs. So, you should still see the step increase when everyone else does.

bleu I asked if I'd start at the next step as soon as the school year begins and I was tolld: You will now receive your With-in grade increases (WIGI) on an annual basis from your last DLEI (Date of last increase), which will be the effective date of you coming onboard as an ISS.

HelpOthers Ask someone else. Everyone receives a step increase at the same time. I cann't remember the exact date, but it will not be different for each person.
