@haha Thanks for your response. I was hoping you would be one of my responses. Can you point me in the direction of the list of certification areas for DODEA? I would like to view them. Also, does every DODEA school have a Preschool Disabled teacher?

Yes, we have PSCD - Preschool Services for Children with Disabilities. Only a few schools here in Okinawa have the program, to my knowledge. But I think it's a really good cert to have!

Perhaps I'm reading your question wrong, but it seems like you are asking if the DODEA schools will consider your extra state certifications that you are not asking the DODEA analysts to qualify? I don't know the answer to this... but I would guess moving to DODEA would be similar to switching states in many ways... you have to be certified in that...See More

There is no guarantee. Once you are working for DoDEA, your qualifications be be increased or decreased based on qualification requirements at the time. If your school needs someone in a certain area, they may review what current teachers are able to teach, then ask HR to update your qualifications whether you want it or not.
