@icanread, this is my third year applying. So far I have taken most of the interviews I have been requested to do, but I have turned down 2 or 3 of them. If I turn down more, will they freeze my application or keep me from getting referrals/interviews?

Agree. We have heard nothing about a "new and improved" transfer program and I would assume the present difficulties will give them even more cover to let the whole idea quietly die (although I would be happy to be pleasantly surprised to the contrary).

No, there was some mention by Mr. Brady that if it returns, it will look very different, but no updates. However, this year districts are at least allowing employees to list preferences for moves- like within school (different grade/subject), complex, district, or area- understanding that any relocation would be at the applicant's own expense.
