I'm local in Germany and put that on my application. I got my first referral for my dream school but as a recent graduate with no (outside of student teaching) classroom experience, I don't think I did so great on my interview. EAS is down again, but when it's back up should I change my target location to worldwide? Does it help with referrals? Because I'm local I can only choose one garrison, but I may be willing to drive up to an hour away which would give me a few more school options. I'm SPED and ELED certified, not interested in anything over 5th which limits me I guess (but I'm ok with that).

Bloo Ok will do thanks! I'm ok without LQA. I'm already a lowly paid FT NAF employee and am surviving here lol.

oldshack What does it look like transferring from being a teacher into admin? Are you able to apply to any open position?

haha There is no transferring into admin. There is a separate recruitment process with interviews, essays, grading of your responses/application, etc. I believe if approved, they offer you a location(s), but I'm not really sure about that.
