Can I get any thoughts/info on either Livorno ES or Naples ES? Would love to hear the pros/cons of each area. Thanks!

ecd5 I just looked it up. That it pretty scary. I have heard that the water is toxic in that area due to pollution so you can forget about swimming.

Icanread If you have a spouse, jobs are few and far between, and if your spouse works remotely for a US based company, they must apply for an Italian work visa or risk being fined/banned by the Italian government.

Thirdtimeisacharm Livorno is very small and teachers are asked to teach many different subjects and mixed classes. Very little support. We lived there last year and it was hard. The students learn basics, only core subjects, no music, classes are taught often by subs. The base has no activities only a basic commissary and library and Inn. Islandgirl Naples is nice once you get into the Italian frame of mind. Live away from the city.
